Today I introduced the children to Shongo Networks. This is another exercise in mental discipline. The children are wonderful about staying focused to accomplish the task. The Lawrence Hall of Science is the unit I am doing with the children, so this is right "from the horse's mouth."
Next week we'll investigate a mathematical way to know if a network can be traveled in one continuous line. Please ask your child to show you their trials from today's class. I was very impressed with the perseverance they showed in trying to get the problems.
